How much should social media management cost for a small business?

Dair Digital · 7/28/2026

Social media management pricing varies widely, and the sticker price alone doesn't tell you much — what's actually included matters far more.

What drives the price

Posting frequency, the number of platforms managed, whether content is created from scratch or templated, and whether community management (replying to comments and messages) is included all move the price meaningfully. Paid advertising management is usually priced separately again.

A realistic range

For a small business, a genuine multi-platform service with real content creation and community management typically lands somewhere in the €300–€500/month range, with lighter single-platform packages starting lower. Our own social media management plans start at €250/month for 2 posts a week on one platform — see the full tiers on pricing.

What separates a cheap package from a good one

Cheap packages often mean templated, generic content and no real community management — messages and comments go unanswered. A service worth paying for should include content genuinely made for your business, someone actually monitoring engagement, and real reporting on what's working, not just a post count.

The question worth asking any quote

"Who creates the content, and who's actually watching the inbox?" A quote that can't answer both clearly is probably underdelivering on one of them.
